Best of British Print Collection

To mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee we have created a photography collection comprising 70 of our favourite images of British artists taken during the period of Her Majesty's reign.

It is a celebration of the wealth of musical talent that the UK has produced over the last 70 years. Rock, Punk Rock, Pop, Folk, Indie, Britpop .... Britain has led the way in all genres, with our extraordinary musical strength and diversity. Our photographs capture the unprecedented history and vibrant spirit of the UK music scene.

Britain's influence on music became to take shape in the 1950s when, inspired by blues, jazz, and rock and roll from the United States, pop music began to evolve in the UK. The genre started as a mix of various music styles and was developed by artists such as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones who led rock and roll's transition into rock music. The "British Invasion" as it became known happened during the 1960s and 1970s and saw British rock bands' popularity spread rapidly to the United States and around the globe. The UK has continued to influence and develop the global music scene ever since.

This music print collection features images of music icons including David Bowie, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Oasis, Kate Bush, Joy Division, Sex Pistols, and beyond, through the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, right up to the present day.

What's more, all of the photos in our collection have been taken by renowned British music photographers including Mick Rock, Jill Furmanovsky, Gered Mankowitz, and Ray Stevenson, to name just a few. Plus each unique image is shot somewhere in the British Isles from classic venues such as the Marquee Club, Wembley Stadium, and the Royal Albert Hall, to famous locations like Abbey Road Studios and the Glastonbury Festival.

We hope you enjoy our celebration of the Best of British music photography. All these photos are available to buy as limited edition fine art prints.
