We remember all the great music artists that we tragically lost last year whose legacies will never be forgotten
When we started 2016 who would have thought that by the end of the year we would have lost so many great musical influences. 2016 started badly with the passing of one of music's true greats, David Bowie, in early January and ended just as dramatically with the death of pop legend George Michael on Christmas Day. We have also mourned the untimely passing of Prince, the loss of Leonard Cohen and the deaths of Rick Parfitt, Maurice White, John Berry and Merle Haggard.
Let's hope that 2017 passes by without such loss.
