Cover art for Thornley's 2004 debut album 'Come Again' designed by Storm Thorgerson and shot in Weston Super Mare, UK.
Storm Thorgerson recalled, "We are not often inclined to do fantasy, preferring instead to mess around with reality (just a bit) I mean, you can’t really have a trap door in a beach, now can you? or stairs going down to the sky? except in fantasy land. Or unless you have ingested a large amount of pharmaceutical psychotropics, and heaven knows we wouldn’t want that. However, the elements are real enough and the trap door was custom-made and transported to a likely beach where we dug a hole in the sand and embedded said trap door, plus a couple of steps which were then computer-joined to some stone steps in a back alley in West Hampstead, London, and the same figure is seen at the top of the stairs (or is it the bottom?) as is seen walking away towards the dunes. I have no idea what it all means, but like much surreal fantasy it just felt engaging. Up? Down? Where do the stairs lead? Down into the earth or up into the sky? To darkness or to the light? Is it positive or is it negative? Is the figure coming or going? Is this a crock of shit or not?"

A great print deserves a great frame. At Rockarchive we would be delighted to advise you on how best to select the right frame for your print. Please just let us know when you place your order or contact us once you have received your print and we will discuss the various options with you.
If you live in London we can arrange to get your print framed for you. Once the print is framed you can either collect it from our London Rockarchive Studio, in Kentish Town or we can arrange for it to be delivered to your London address (at an extra charge).
If you live elsewhere in the UK, we can arrange to get smaller sized prints framed and shipped to you. However due to postage regulations acrylic (eg perspex) rather than glass needs to be used in the frame.
