Limited edition print of Depeche Mode by photographer Kevin Westenberg taken at The Worx Studios, London in January 1990. This image was used by Mojo magazine for the cover of their Depeche Mode Collectors Series edition in 2024.
Kevin recalls, "I’ve always had a soft spot for these guys as I was there listening from the very very beginning. This might be my overall favorite shot now as it shows them in their prime just prior to the release of their opus ‘Violator’. They had the same air of complete confidence that Soundgarden had when we shot all the material for ‘SuperUnknown’ 4 years later in Seattle. Like a band in heat, there was an indescribable buzz in both occasions. The other similarly is that both had success already but completely upped their game to new levels to produce their classic album
Kevin Westenberg's limited edition prints are signed, numbered and available in the following sizes:
16x20" Edition of 25
20x24" Edition of 25
