Slash is regarded as one of the world's greatest guitar players, particularly acclaimed for his thundering solos on records such as 'November Rain' & 'Sweet Child of Mine'. His favourite guitar is the Gibson Les Paul which he describes as 'the best around guitar for me'.
Slash was born Saul Hudson in July 1965. He rose to fame as the lead guitarist of the US hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. In the early 1990s he started working on Slash's Snakepit and in 1996, after leaving Guns N' Roses, he co-founded the band Velvet Revolver. He has released four solo albums and many iconic music artists including, Iggy Pop, Motorhead & Rihanna asked him to play on their records. He rejoined Guns N' Roses in 2016
