Throughout the 1960s & 1970s Robert Whitaker shot the world's greatest celebrities and icons, from Mick Jagger to Salvador Dalí. However his most recognised and enduring work is of The Beatles who he shot in a variety of settings between 1964 to 1966.
His fantastic collection of work includes images of the fab four taken at Loch Earn, Scotland during their 1964 tour, John Lennon captured in his garden at home in Weybridge & shots of the band at Cliveden House whilst shooting their film 'Help' in 1965, and the band going on-stage in 1966 on their Japanse tour.
It is a vibrant collection of images that captured The Beatles in their heyday in candid moments and everyday situations. We are delighted to be able to showcase Robert Whitaker's prints for the first time.
