We love music festivals. Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Newport Jazz, Lattitude, Lollapalooza - past, and present - we love them all! Festivals are more than a collection of bands performing on numerous stages in front of thousands of people. They are communities that bring people together in a common love of music and this shared experience creates an opportunity for escapism, fun, and unity.
So now we are midway through the summer festival season, we thought we'd share some of favourite festival images from across the years. Included in our collection is Jimi Hemdrix performing at the Woburn Music Festival in 1969 taken by Barrie Wentzell, Dave Grohl giving it all at the V Festival in 2007 shot by Mark Mawston, and a joiner image of Bruce Springsteen onstage at the Glastonbury Festival in 2009 created by Jill Furmanovsky.
