Over a quarter of a million people witnessed Oasis play Knebworth Park on the 10th & 11th of August, in the summer of 1996 - a band at the peak of their powers performing to a sea of adoring fans.
To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of these iconic gigs, Rockarchive has worked with Jill Furmanovsky to produce an exclusive book and three print set.
The special set comprises of a copy of Jill Furmanovsky and Daniel Rachel's book 'Oasis: Knebworth: Two Nights That Will Live Forever' signed by Jill, and three 10x8" fine art prints of previously unseen images of the band.
The book Oasis: Knebworth: Two Night That Will Live Forever is a look behind the scenes of that magical summer; the rehearsals & warm-up gigs, the build-up, backstage and even on-stage for the incredible concerts themselves.
Jill Furmanovsky's photographs - many never seen before - are framed with impeccably researched text written by award-winning author Daniel Rachel, gathering accounts from the people behind the scenes to tell the inside story of those record-breaking nights.
The Three Exclusive Prints feature images of the band rehearsing at the NEC the month before the concerts took place, Liam chilling on-stage at Knebworth during the sound-check and Noel captured whilst performing during the concerts. Each fine art print measures 10x8" (25.4x20.3cm), is from a limited edition run of 100 and is signed by Jill Furmaovsky.
