Taken at Patti Smiths Meltdown in June 2005 this shot captures the power Yoko still generates. Even to this day Yoko is controversial. Prior to taking this shot she had emerged through a cut in a film... read more screen, making it look as though the projected character had come to life and was walking out of the film towards you. The effect was complimented by the fact that she wore a black bag over her head, making it difficult to find her microphone! Backed by her son Sean she blew the place away. Not bad for a lady in her 70’s-certianly the trendiest bag lady around. The only thing she carried was the audience.
