Velvet Revolver (Slash) by Stuart Nicholls

Slash is my guitar hero. Guns and Roses were my band while growing up. This was my chance to photograph him. My friends’ band The Datsuns were supporting so to photograph both these bands on the same bill made it a very special night. That night I was, in technical terms ‘on fire’. I think I took probably the best photo that sums up the term ‘rock ‘n’ roll’ during The Datsuns set, and then this photo of my idol Slash, which has been quoted as one of the most unique original live photos of Slash. I like them both. This night was probably in the top three of career highs for me. I was concentrating on Slash as that was the photo I wanted most. It was during the third song and the other photographers were concentrating on Scott the singer, making sure they had that perfect magazine image, I had my photo of Scott already. Slash walked to the front of the stage on the far right, it was just me, Slash, and the 5000 fans behind me.

Edition 100 was created to give fans and collectors a chance to own pictures of their favorite bands, or images associated with them, at fair prices.  

 

 

New images are offered at an introductory price, allowing entry-level collectors to begin accumulating what will become a valuable collection.

Edition 100 prints are made on 308gm fine art matt archival papers using archival inks.

Prints are available in various sizes from A3 (297mm x 420mm) (11.7” x 16.5”) up to custom AO (841mm x 1189mm) (33.1” x 46.8”).

 

Prints are embossed with the distinctive Rockarchive logo, numbered from 1-100 and signed by the photographer or authenticated by their estate. Certificates and care instructions are also included.
