I’d already photographed sixteen shows on the Elevation tour and was ready for a rest. The day before I’d lucked into the unusual situation of having a live concert photo on the cover of The Boston Globe, and after a stressful week in Boston I was ready to take it easy the last night, and just get into the music, the reason I was there in the first place. I’d seen moments similar to this one before but never had it happened so perfectly right in front of me; I think I moved maybe four feet tops to get straight on to Bono and The Edge. I knew at the time I had something, but I had no idea I had this. <<
