I originally met him via my father who was the dentist of their manager Kit Lambert and suggested to Kit that I do a studio photo of the Who. But I could never get them together. But Pete suggested that I come and take photos on the set of Tommy and come to the recording studio. He was totally unegotistical and he took a genuine interest in my work. <<
