The main preoccupation of O.A.R. (Of A Revolution) at the time of this record was how to balance the life of a travelling musician, a life on the road, with family life i.e.  staying at home. One both loves playing but  one also loves being at home with one’s wife and child, but these can be mutually exclusive. And in trying to  avoid the more lurid solutions of outrageous behaviour or over-indulgence - or both ( which may provide of course for a litany of colourful rock and roll stories but also a trail of fucked-up marriages and deserted children...steady on) O.A.R. put it instead into their art. I likewise tried to do the same, and see this work/home dilemma as part of an imaginary fairy tale to reflect the old conundrum, do you take your work home or your home to work? So we have a man running from his house in a hurry on his way to work - hence the suit and briefcase. But his briefcase is in the shape of the house he’s just left because he’s taking home to work. But the house he’s just left is also in fact a huge briefcase belonging to a giant who is reaching down to pick it up on ‘his’ way to work. And so it goes on, a dilemma that is difficult to answer. Better to make a record - a piece of imagination - than plunge your head in a bucket of vomit in a hotel room in Kentucky. Moreover, we’re not people to fuck around, so we built a giant house/briefcase, took it in sections to the location and erected it, photographed it in afternoon light, as you can see, then came home (and they call that work). <<

Edition 20/20

20/20 is a series of prints which are more obscure and more personal, not necessarily frontline images but ones which are highly valued by Storm Thorgerson. The series compromises 20 different images for a variety of bands including Pink Floyd, The Cranberries, The Mars Volta, Ethnix, Catherine Wheel, Phish, and Muse amongst others. The edition size is limited to only 20 of each image, hence
20/20.

Each print is signed, numbered and embossed with a custom designed 20/20 symbol. Each print purchased will come with descriptive notes and technical details.
