Taken from the Genesis book publication of the same name, 'From Station to Station: Travels with Bowie 1973-1976' gives fans a rare and candid insight into the previously unseen world of David Bowie taken by his backing singer, and close friend, Geoff MacCormack.
Thursday 22nd Jan 2009 saw the unveiling of Geoff's previously unpublished images of David Bowie to a receptive audience in our Kings Rd Gallery. The event was a great success enjoyed by everyone who attended.
The gallery was full to bursting point with a selection of photographers from the Rockarchive collective; Ray Stevenson, Gerard McNamara, David Corio and of course the new boy, Geoff MacCormack! Also spotted in the crowd were bassist Hew Webb from the band S.C.U.M, Iraina - singer of Mancini, and Xfm DJ and presenter Alex Zane. Such a good time was being had that no one wanted to leave. It really was the best private view we have had in a long time! Thank you everyone for making it a night to remember.
