Lynn Goldsmith has been a photographer for over 40 years. Among her awards are the World Press for Portraiture, the Lucien Clergue, and Nikon Lifetime Achievement. Her photographs have appeared on the covers of magazines such as Rolling Stone, Life, Time, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated, and Interview, to name a few.

 

Her work is in the collections of the Smithsonian, the Polaroid Collection, the Kodak Collection, The Museum of Modern Art, The Chicago Museum of Contemporary Photography, The Sir Elton John Collection, and The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. With over 100 album covers to her credit and eleven books of her work, she has achieved a legendary status.

 

In addition to her work as a photographer, she has also been a performance artist under the name  of Will Powers. Lynn has written songs with Sting, Steve Winwood, Nile Rogers and Todd Rundgren. She produced the album Dancing For Mental Health which had the very popular UK single Kissing with Confidence. She lives in New York and Aspen, Colorado.
