The... read more other band on the menu was Chelsea and their vocalist, Gene October, wasted no time in getting to know Debbie Harry - my photo of them together was reproduced in Sounds. Debbie appeared to be quite jet-lagged but seemed to enjoy being photographed. Unfortunately the camera started to play up but not before I’d managed to take about a dozen frames.

We got on well, so we arranged to meet at my house in Holland Park to do some more pictures but with a more fashion edge. Her cat-like features and my leopard curtains made for a perfect match."
