Annie Lennox’s Nottingham hotel room on a Eurythmics tour. Our styling for a cover shoot for Sounds Magazine was a sheet off the bed. The lighting came from a bedside lamp and Annie did her own make-up. It was just the two of us. Those kind of shoots were common in the days of the music press, and I am forever grateful for having learned to shoot quickly and imaginatively in every situation. <<

Roger Daltrey of The Who is made from a 5x4 copy negative as the original was lost. <<
